Guideline lifts secured the contract for the replacement of two original 1930’s passenger lifts with modern machine room-less passenger lifts, which were specifically designed to compliment the “Art-Deco” style of the building.
The lifts were replaced consecutively to ensure the residents were served by one lift at all times. During the works, specialists were engaged to remove asbestos materials identified by the survey and these works were completed prior to the installation of each new lift. Guideline Lift Services were specified as a specialist contractor directly by the client and co-ordinated works with the main contractor. Guideline Lift Services’ experience and specialist design competence was a major factor in securing the project.
Following the works, the client benefited from the refurbishment of the redundant lift motor room in the basement, which was subsequently converted to an office space. Another example of Guideline delivering the goods.
